From the Desk of Lady Cellica Whitewind,
Physical Mending is exactly what you believe it to be: mending wounds, reversing damage, fixing damage, and the like. There are three methods for physical mending: medical, magical, and mechanical. Medical mending involves, well, medical procedures such as surgeries and blood transfusions to restore health to an individual. Magical mending involves utilizing the healing arts, such as with the Light or Natural magic, to heal wounds directly. Finally, mechanical solutions to mending are usually Gnomish, Mechagnomish, or even Goblin in nature, and utilize machines in order to "fix problems". All three methods are interchangeable, and should be utilized accordingly depending on your individual experience.
Mental Mending is also exactly what you'd think it to be: mending the mind of impurities, purging wicked and unnatural thoughts, and so on. Usually one can consider this form of mending as a means of combating Void Corruption or mental manipulation. Sometimes, though, it involves therapy and general practices of soothing the mind, such as meditating to empty one's thoughts. As above, any methods are valid and interchangeable, so utilize what you're familiar with.
Spiritual Mending is tougher to define than physical or mental mending; a spirit, after all, is a difficult thing to quantify without the use of necromancy or the like. However, due to the nature of our reality, the restless spirits of undeath linger on Azeroth, and beyond the Veil, the souls there cry out for release and aid. Spiritual mending is simply a means of ensuring that the restless find their rest and that those awash in anguish are no long in agony. More often than not, magical methods are primary in this field, but in the rare instances that medical or mechanical methods are applicable, they are valid and interchangeable, as per usual. Stick with what you know and use your best judgment!
Pilgrimages may seem rather odd, especially when considering the religious connotations behind the word. Rest assured that when Whitewind Company utilizes the word "pilgrimage", we mean a "journey of self-discovery and mending". Oftentimes, our reach can seem limited to just wherever the people are, but that can't be farther from the truth; there are those suffering in all corners of Azeroth. Whitewind Healers are thereby encourage to take pilgrimages to the far corners of our world and tend to everyone they come across, be it simply giving them food and water, to healing their wounds as above. If a Healer ever feels that such a journey would be dangerous, they are always welcome to invite others alongside them as protection detail. And pilgrimages are not necessarily just about healing others; for Healers, a pilgrimage may just be the sort of "vacation" they need every once in awhile.
Charity is a role that may, at first, seem odd, given the context. Whitewind Healers do not operate with gold as a medium of exchange; in fact, our Healers should not work with any medium of exchange outside of gifts and praise (save for being paid by the Company, of course). So, when we say that Healers should give gold to chairty, the gold that is given to those in need will come from the Company's coffers. That does not mean we will not stop Healers from donating more than what the Company provides, though be warned that there is only so much we can provide and compensate for. Charity events are far and between, but Healers are at the forefront of such events, for they should be the face of good-will and giving. Oh, and to be frank, providing charity does allow us to lower our tax dues, so there is that.
Of course, a Healer's roles are subject to change depending on the overall environment. Being flexible and well-rounded is a key component of being a Whitewind Healer.
Healers are those who keep the members of the Whitewind Company strong and healthy. Their responsibilities are as follows:
- Physical Mending
- Mental Mending
- Spiritual Mending
- Pilgrimages
- Charity

If you think that being a Healer best fits you, consider the following desirable traits:
- Friendly and Caring, for... obvious reasons
- Cooperative and Flexible - being willing and able to work alongside others to reach a goal as part of a team, at times, or alone, at others.
- Well-traveled - being an individual ready - and willing - to travel the ends of Azeroth and beyond for experiments and intelligence gathering.
